The Topics All A-Level Students Must Master
Whether you are working towards Edexcel, AQA, CIE or another exam board, the content is very similar across the exam board. There are slight differences in exam technique and we will work with each student to identify areas of development.

The A-Level Pure Mathematics curriculum represents a significant leap forward from GCSE level, requiring students to master a broad range of complex topics that build upon the foundations laid in earlier studies.
The curriculum encompasses a wide range of topics, including algebra and functions, coordinate geometry, sequences and series, trigonometry, differentiation and integration, and vectors. We understand that mastering these topics requires a deep understanding of the underlying principles, and we work with students using our proven MASTER by MWH framework to help them break down each topic into manageable sections.

Hi, I’m Grace and I’m in my second year studying Maths and Stats at Durham! I have over 1 year of prior tutoring experience at GCSE level and love sharing my passion for maths (especially the statistics aspects!) with students in a way that will allow them to engage with content and improve their grades. Having got A*s in Maths and Further Maths A-Levels and Grade 9s in Maths and Statistics at GCSEs, I am very familiar with the exam structure, curriculum and how to score highly in exams.

I love anything maths related and believe there’s nothing better than the feeling after solving a problem you’ve been stuck on for ages. I chose to study a maths degree because it’s a challenging but rewarding subject and I have always been a strong advocate for more women going into STEM related degrees. Through tutoring I'm able to share this passion with others and particularly enjoy teaching pure maths and mechanics which is mainly what my degree focuses on now. Areas like trigonometry and calculus are some of my favourite topics as they include lots of problem solving and contextual based questions.

Initial Enquiry
It all starts with an email or phone call directly with Hannah. Simply get in touch 7 days a week.

Try and include as much detail as possible at this stage. Hannah will personally match you with the best tutor to advance the students learning, depending on requirements and budget.

First Lesson
Clients book a first session with their chosen tutor following the initial consultation.

Our experienced tutors provide clear explanations using examples, diagrams and step-by step processes.

Matching
After your enquiry, Hannah will personally handpick a tutor suited to your particular request.

We believe that quality tutoring is down to each tutor specialising in a single area. This means our tutors are masters in tutoring at their level. We will select a tutor for you based on their specialisation.

Feedback
We will contact you after the first lesson to check how the lesson went, and to provide information on the lesson content.

At this stage, students usually book in weekly sessions. If you are not satisfied, you are under no obligation to continue lessons and you are able to try lessons with a different tutor.

Free Consultation & Assessment
During this 15 minute consultation, the tutor will spend some time getting to know the student, assessing their current level and determining their unique needs and goals, to plan for future sessions.
If you are joining us in Year 13, we know how close you are to exams. We offer an initial assessment, marked by our tutors, to pinpoint the areas we can help you with most.

Regular Check-Ins
Tutors submit a report after each session which is shared with us. The report details the topic covered in each lesson, as well as the students strengths and development areas.

Hannah will personally update you on a monthly basis regarding the student's progress and any next steps.
