Emma Dee

Hi, I’m Emma and I am currently in my second year studying Maths at Durham. Since 2020, I have been tutoring Maths students in both group and individual settings, ranging from ages 4-16 of mixed abilities, and so have an excellent understanding of the curriculum and how to tailor learning specifically to each student. When tutoring, it is important to make the session as engaging and stimulating as possible; I make sure to create interactive, enthusiastic lesson plans and continuously reflect with the student on their strengths or weaknesses. As well as this and having received A*A* in A-Level Maths and Further Maths, grade 9 in GCSE maths and an A* in GCSE Further Maths, I am extremely familiar with the content and structure of each exam. Outside studying, I enjoy going to art galleries and filling my room with an obsessive number of plants.
